Steven J. Musmanno, MBA, AIFA, is a Co-Managing Principal and the Chief Investment Officer of APS Pension & Financial Services in Melville, New York. He leads investment strategy and portfolio management for the firm’s wealth management and institutional fiduciary businesses, which serve 401(k), 403(b), and defined benefit retirement plans. Steven began his career at Merrill Lynch in New York and holds an MBA in finance from NYU Stern School of Business.

Steven J. Musmanno, MBA, AIFA, is a Co-Managing Principal and the Chief Investment Officer of APS Pension & Financial Services in Melville, New York. He is also Chief Investment Officer of APS Investment Management (APSIM), the firm’s institutional fiduciary arm, and a co-founder of APS Wealth Management, LLC, an SEC registered investment adviser, where he is a Managing Member and Chief Compliance Officer.

Steven sets investment strategy and asset allocation policy for APSIM’s risk-based investment portfolios and leads their portfolio management. He chairs the APSIM Fiduciary Investment Committee, oversees day-to-day portfolio trading for institutional and wealth management clients, and consults on pension and qualified plan design for the firm’s actuarial and third-party administration business.

Earlier in his career, Steven worked at Merrill Lynch in New York, rising to Vice President of Institutional Research Marketing. He holds an MBA in finance from NYU Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Oswego, and he is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA).
